But I actually know where they went.
They went to hours of cradling and rocking and soothing.
Hours of gazing, kissing, absorbing and loving.
Hours of feeding, puree making and recipe combination making.
Of smiles, giggles, chattering and a few tears.
Of learning to sleep, savouring every sleeping moment and loving every wake up smile.
Of on the ground playtime, rumbles, tackles and learning.
Lots of learning.
For this mama and this bubba.
For this little family.
The blog was abandoned. Tucked away and almost forgotten about. Until I started mini projects, little things that I kept thinking 'this would make a great blog post' or 'I should blog this'. You should see the list. Good grief there is a lot of writing to do! (and I am so excited about this)
So what is this? It is a basket full of love.
Life, style, baby, parenting, rumbles and rants, being mum and keeping mum, health and fitness, food and cooking. lots of photography. Photography professional and amateaur, Instagram-ography and capturing light, moments and time through the lens.
We will Embrace the camera Thursday and Instagram Instaweek on Fridays. Best of the blogs every two weeks, Tried and Tess-ted occasionally or frequently, you'll just have to wait and see.
So grab a cup of tea (or coffee, I a equally partial to both) and enjoy. There are old posts of a wedding video and nursery photos (yes, no it doesn't look like that any more, yes the light in his room is THAT amazing) and a few wish lists for the baby. I'll review those and add in my favourite and highly prized (read: overused) baby products.
